SUD Renovables – H2SOLTECH
The main goal of the H2Soltech project is to implement a hydrogen-based energy storage and usage solution to maximise the employment of surplus photovoltaic energy in a stationary application.
The containerised facility includes a pilot plant that allows the full-scale assessment of equipment and system configurations, enabling the acquisition of experience on emerging renewable hydrogen technologies. As an energy vector, hydrogen allows the storage and use of solar energy to generate electricity on demand, thus optimising the use of renewable energies and improving the stability of the power supply.

The pilot plant comprises a photovoltaic facility, a small electrolyser, a storage system and a stationary fuel cell. SynerHy is responsible for the conceptual and detailed engineering, as well as commissioning, through its subsidiary BSynerHy Sustainable Fluids.
Project status: Conceptualisation and feasibility studies are complete. The detailed engineering, deployment and commissioning phases will be carried out once the required funding and authorisations are obtained.
